Hiko Heating & Electrical — Hiko Heating Ltd — is a Christchurch dual-trade business founded in 2018 by Mitch Cuff, operating from Hillsborough. The idea was simple: most homes need both heating and electrical work, and getting them from two different contractors means two call-outs, two explanations, and the trades blaming each other when something does not line up. One installer across both trades removes all of that.

When you ring, you talk to the person who will actually show up. Mitch measures the rooms, checks the switchboard, looks at the airflow, and tells you straight what the place needs — and what it does not. The gear is always named-brand: Mitsubishi, Daikin, and Fujitsu heat pumps with parts and support available locally, wired and protected by the same hands that mounted them.

The work covers existing homes and new builds alike: heat pump supply and installation sized to the room, switchboard checks and upgrades, new points and lighting, fault-finding and repairs, and ventilation and home heating designed as one system. Every job leaves with the green Hiko installer mark — tidy installs, stickered with pride.
